Novelty Pocket Knives
by pen knives on Jun.11, 2009, under Pocket Knives, Wholesale Knives
It’s interesting that more often than not people find knives to fit in more of a knick-knack category than that of an everyday tool. Sure there is a sense of novelty when showing off a new pocket knife, but its uses far outweigh how often you will be praised on your knife’s coolness.
A distinguishing factor in whether a knife would be considered a novelty is how cheap it really is. Cheap construction, chincey hand feel, very light weight and possibly made by the thousands with the name of your local Elks Club printed on it are all good indicators that you are in fact holding a knife not made for actual performance.
Sure a cheapy knife might last you a few years if never used and kept in a safe place, so if you are looking for a knife with those standards, the Dollar Store and gas stations might have what you are looking for. If you are looking for a pocket knife that would be considered useful AND cool, you seriously have to consider going rogue.
Check out TBO’s Self Defense Products section and find the “keychain knife” to see what I’m talking about. A knife that isn’t actually a knife unless used as a knife! It’s a knife undercover! AAHH!
