ll over the internet lurk computer generated websites that are as flaky as the adwords you sometimes see on websites that have absolutely nothing to do with the actual content on the page. It’s funny, it’s sad, but it’s also pretty easy to spot.

A week ago I was doing some reading on different ways of sharpening the different knives I have around my house and garage and I kept finding these horrible recommendations on purchasing HUGE and more often than not EXPENSIVE sharpening systems.

Why would I sharpen a $20 knife on a $100 sharpener? Does that make any sense?

Regardless, I typed in KNIFE SHARPENING TIPS and happened upon KnifeSharpeningTips.com – HOLY WOWSERS!

I don’t know the dude, but I read his site quite a bit, and you should too!

I’m curious.

I’m pretty confident I want one of these and a better health insurance policy.

I love Gerber’s packaging and blade strength, but for finger’s sake, buy three knives or BE FRICKIN CAREFUL! Every knife I’ve ever received or purchased has cut me a few times in the first few days, but imagine the potential for pain when showing off this puppy with each of its three different knives.

I like the idea, I just know myself a little better than to purchase something like this and not end up like Jerry Garcia.

We have always shared an interest in hooked blades, but never got around to purchasing one because most hook knives are fixed blades and oftentimes bigger than our legal 4 inch restrictions and on the expensive and “when would i ever use this” side of the coin. That all changed when he showed me the COPTOOL from Triple Eight.

Like I’ve previously said, TheAwesomer.com has dope schtuff and will occasionally put up a quick review of a DOPE ASS KNIFE!

They did it again today with KA-BAR’s Becker TacTool. About $140.00 USD and a little over 1lb. just imagine kicking serious tactical ass with this badboy. Not only that, but I could see myself repelling from a pirate ship’s sail with the hook blade if I needed to. RIGHT SLOTH?!
